At Cedar Goods our Vermont-made products are handcrafted from high quality White Cedar, milled on our family farm in Northern Vermont. Our raised garden beds and sandboxes are non-toxic and have no chemical finishes. Each unique piece is constructed to stand the test of time and age gracefully in nature.

Eastern White Cedar contains natural preservatives allowing it to resist decay and stand up to time. It's a safe alternative to treated woods, which may contain harmful chemicals. University of Maine studies have proven that untreated White Cedar outlasts any other wood local to the Northeast. Local farmers have attested to cedar fence posts lasting more than 50 years!
